The client approached us to improve the sizing system used in their online store. Different brands used different sizing standards, which confused shoppers and led to higher product returns.
Explainers and improvements and clarity were applied to provide a clear sizing experience, all garment sizes were converted into a unified system before products were published on the website.

Project overview
The client needed a custom extension to their ecommerce platform to support a unified clothing size converter. The project required both analytical planning and technical development to create a tool that automatically converts different brand sizing systems into one clear and familiar format for customers in Latvia.
Challenge
The challenge was developing a unique WooCommerce extension that expanded the platform’s default functionality without disrupting the shopping experience. The client’s catalog included multiple brands using different sizing standards, and in some cases even different systems within the same brand, which created confusion for shoppers and increased the risk of incorrect purchases.
Solution
Before development began, we analyzed different technical approaches and tested scenarios to identify the most practical implementation. During this phase, we also designed the size conversion logic to keep the tool simple for customers while minimizing technical risks.
The system was then tested using the client’s real product data, including different brands and sizing scales, to ensure reliable and accurate size conversion across the store.
