Project challenge
Our biggest challenge was to identify which sections and blocks of information to include on the website in order to develop a competitive website.
Challenge
Holiday home rentals have been around in Latvia for a long time, so there is a wide range of such services available online, most of which have already gained a reputation. The design of the website needs to be strategic to be able to compete with popular booking platforms. It is important to offer potential customers the most attractive visual representation of the venue as this is one of the key factors in making a purchase.
Solution
Working with the client, we carried out a thorough competitor research, defined the sections of interest to the target audience, and included detailed information about both the holiday homes and the leisure facilities in general. We carried out keyword research and prepared SEO-optimised content guidelines. We included several image galleries on the website to give customers an insight into the holiday homes.
We prepared relevant meta headings and descriptions to ensure that the company ranked highly in Google search results.
Website design adapted to the company’s vision
The colour palette, elements and other details used in the design of the website are chosen to create an association with relaxation and the environment in which the house is located (this time – the seashore). When designing the website, we followed the client’s wish to create a feeling as similar as possible to the feeling of being in the house.
