Leno.lv
Developing an efficient integratede-commerce system
The client approached us with an existing B2B platform, but the company’s goal was to expand sales channels and create a fully-fledged B2C e-shop. The solution needed to provide a simple and straightforward shopping experience, while ensuring efficient management of the company’s internal e-commerce processes.
In addition to the development of the e-shop, an essential part of the project was the creation of a robust data exchange system between WooCommerce, the ERP system (Tildes Jumis) and the existing B2B platform. The aim was to reduce manual work, eliminate data duplication and ensure a single flow of information between all systems.

Scope of work
To ensure a robust, efficient and automated e-commerce solution, a business process analysis was carried out at the beginning of the project and the optimal system model was developed. Our team took into account the specifics of the systems and platforms already in use, internal processes, technical specifications of the new e-shop in order to design and implement a solution that ensures efficient data exchange between all systems/platforms and tools, while reducing manual work and the risk of errors.

Project overview
The main challenge was to create a system that would allow efficient management of products and orders across multiple systems, while avoiding duplication of effort and data inconsistencies. Before any work could start, a solution had to be planned that covered many aspects. Without an effective and well thought out plan, the implementation of such a solution would have faced many obstacles and inconsistencies.
Challenge
Initially, product data on the B2B platform was not structured in a technically correct way – attributes were in descriptions, not in data fields. This made it difficult to automatically export and import data into the B2C system.
An additional challenge was the need to agree which system would manage specific data objects so that the other platforms only synchronise them. This planning and implementation phase is not only about the data exchange between systems, but also about the management of the e-commerce platforms.
Strategic decisions also had to be taken on SEO.
Solution
Before the development started, a detailed analysis of the data structure was carried out and clear rules were developed for the cooperation of the existing systems with each other and with the newly developed e-store.
As a result, an efficient data management model was defined: the ERP system provides the base data (prices, balances, SKUs), the B2B platform manages product content, categories and attributes, the B2C e-store automatically displays and updates all data.
This approach allowed to eliminate manual data entry in several places, to improve the B2B user experience of partners, to automate product and order flows, to reduce the risk of errors and the burden of product information administration.
In addition, server optimisation and Cloudflare protection were installed, which prevented malicious bot access and stabilised the system.
After careful analysis and strategic planning, a correct SEO value migration was organised, maintaining the existing visibility and user experience, resulting in the new store not only not losing position, but also continuing a steady organic growth trend, leveraging the previously accumulated B2B domain authority.
LENO’s experience of working with us on a B2C e-shop
Optimisedsystem for automated e-commerce
Major investments have been made in system architecture and integrations, ensuring that the e-shop operates in an almost fully automated way. This was one of the most complex phases of the project, as it required thinking and planning over several steps, evaluating different scenarios and solutions.
As a result of the development and implementation of this project, the Leno.lv team no longer needs to manually manage products in WooCommerce – data is synchronised automatically and the e-shop acts as a stable sales channel that requires no additional administration.
