Project Overview
Due to the size and complexity of the project, several risks were identified early on. These were addressed during the discovery and planning phase to reduce implementation risk and avoid issues later in development.
Challenge
The need for an ecommerce platform was driven by changing customer behavior, with more purchases moving online. From a business perspective, the main challenges included a large and diverse product catalog, an outdated warehouse system with incomplete data, complex filtering requirements, and multiple clothing size standards.
Solution
A scalable ecommerce platform was developed with full support for both desktop and mobile devices. A dedicated product import tool was implemented to handle large product volumes efficiently and allow bulk uploads into the platform.
The ecommerce system was synchronized with the warehouse system, ensuring accurate product availability across both the physical store and the online shop, with real-time visibility into stock levels.
