Affected
Taking over the website from the previous developer, we optimised the online shop based on in-depth business process research. We kept some of the existing setup, but also made significant changes, including modernising the design.

Project challenge
The biggest challenge for our team was to carry out an accurate analysis of the website’s functionality just after taking it over from the previous developer. At the same time, the client’s business needs and goals were explored.
Challenge
The client’s goal was to expand its online shop by attracting new customers and improving the shopping experience. Upon taking over the project, the newly developed e-commerce platform revealed bugs and flaws that made it difficult to make purchases, process orders and administer the site. To remedy the problem, full synchronisation with the product warehouse system was required.

- We analysed the e-commerce platform from the perspective of the buyer and the employee.
- We studied the code of the implemented functions and made decisions on keeping and changing the settings.

As a result of our strategic approach, we have achieved the most important objectives of the project – we adapted the solution to ensure accurate and continuous data exchange with the warehouse system and redesigned the online shop to visually highlight the products in different views.
