Leno.lv – B2C Ecommerce Store Development
Developing an Integrated B2C Home and Lifestyle Ecommerce Store
The client already had a working B2B platform, but wanted to expand into B2C sales with a full online store. The goal was to create a simple shopping experience while keeping ecommerce operations connected to the company’s internal systems.
A key part of the project was building stable data exchange between WooCommerce, the ERP system, and the existing B2B platform. This reduced manual work, avoided duplicate data entry, and kept product, order, and customer information flowing through one connected system.

Scope of Work
To build a stable and scalable B2C ecommerce store, we started with a detailed review of the client’s existing systems, processes, and data structure. Based on this, we defined how the new store would connect with the ERP system and existing B2B platform, with a focus on reliable data exchange and reducing manual work.

Project Overview
The project focused on building a connected B2C ecommerce store that could work alongside the client’s existing B2B platform and ERP system. The goal was to create a clear shopping experience for customers while keeping product, order, and status data synchronized between systems.
Challenge
Product data in the existing B2B platform was not structured in a way that supported smooth export and import into the new B2C store. Some attributes were stored in descriptions instead of dedicated data fields, which made automation and synchronization more difficult.
A second challenge was defining which system would manage each type of data. This planning was needed so the new B2C store, B2B platform, and ERP system could exchange information without duplication or inconsistencies.
Strategic SEO decisions were also part of the project.
Solution
Before development, we analyzed the existing data structure and defined how systems would work together. Clear rules were set for how data is created, stored, and exchanged between the ERP, B2B platform, and the new B2C store.
The ERP system was used as the source of base data (prices, SKUs), while the B2B platform managed product content, categories, and attributes. The B2C store was built to automatically display and update this data across systems.
This removed the need to enter data in multiple places and reduced errors in product and order handling. It also improved the experience for both internal users and customers by keeping information consistent.
Additional work included server optimization and Cloudflare protection to stabilize the system and prevent unwanted traffic.
Finally, SEO value was preserved during the transition. A structured migration plan allowed the new store to maintain existing visibility while continuing to grow organic traffic on top of the B2B domain’s authority.

Optimized System for Automated Ecommerce
A large part of the work focused on system architecture and integrations, so the ecommerce store could run as a connected system rather than a set of separate tools. This required planning how data moves between systems and making decisions early in the project about structure and responsibilities.
As a result, the Leno.lv team no longer manages product data manually in WooCommerce. Information is synchronized automatically, and the ecommerce store operates as a stable sales channel without ongoing administrative overhead.
