Project overview
Developing a website in the context of a long-term strategy requires not only visual improvements, but also a strategic view on technical architecture, SEO value and brand consistency. For this project, the key was to make a strategic decision that would benefit the company in the long term, rather than a convenient short-term compromise that would create complications and additional costs in the long term.
Challenge
The original idea was to partially redesign the website. However, a careful analysis of the information showed that this solution would only be partially effective in the short term – some of the functionality and design would be up-to-date, but a significant part of the website would retain an outdated structure and visual identity.
In addition, SEO risks had to be taken into account: any significant changes to the structure and URL system could affect existing organic visibility. The challenge was to combine a complete visual and technical overhaul with the safe preservation of SEO value.
Solution
Our team carried out a detailed technical and strategic assessment, presenting full and partial development scenarios with clearly defined benefits and risks to the client. The result was a decision to create a completely new website with a unique design and well thought-out information architecture.
To ensure a safe transition from the old website to the new one, keyword research, content guidelines, 301 redirects and SEO value migration were carried out. Finally, a technical SEO audit was carried out, ensuring correct indexability and structural stability.
The result is a visually appealing and modern, technically organised website that reinforces the brand image and maintains organic visibility after the new version of the website is published.
